Volunteer: New Leaf Mentorship ProgramNew Leaf is dedicated to enhancing the quality of life in Acadiana and surrounding areas by assisting justice-involved individuals who are at risk of recidivism. Through collaborative efforts with partner organizations, The Louisiana Prisoners Reentry Initiative of Acadiana provides a diverse range of services and programs to support the successful reintegration of both men and women returning to our community after incarceration. The Mentoring Program, designed for incarcerated and formerly incarcerated individuals, is among the services/programs we provide to support their successful reintegration into the community. This program works in collaboration with the Mentee's case management to ensure comprehensive assistance and guidance. As a mentor, you will be working with justice-involved adults, offering guidance and support as they transition from incarceration to the community and help them make positive life changes.
