Volunteer: Twinkle Light NightJoin us for an evening of holiday cheer at Twinkle Light Night on December 5th from 5:30 PM - 8:30 PM! We’re looking for dedicated and enthusiastic volunteers to help bring the season's magic to life. Volunteers will play a vital role in creating a memorable experience for families attending this festive event. Volunteer Roles & ResponsibilitiesSanta’s Helpers: Assist families and children with taking photos with Santa, managing the line, and spreading holiday cheer.Cookie Decorating Station Attendants: Help kids decorate cookies by distributing supplies, assisting with decorating, and keeping the area tidy.Craft Station Assistants: Guide children through holiday crafts, keeping supplies organized, and assisting as needed to create memorable keepsakes.Dance Party Enthusiasts: Energize the Jingle Bell dance party by helping coordinate the music, leading dances, and encouraging participation.Greeters and Ticket Scanners: Welcome guests at the entrance, check tickets, and direct families to event activities.The Grinch’s Crew: Assist with our special Grinch visitor, keeping things playful and festive and helping manage crowd flow.Cleanup Crew: Help tidy up craft and activity stations during and after the event to ensure a smooth experience for all guests.Volunteer RequirementsAge: Volunteers must be 16 or older. Family volunteers with younger helpers may be considered if supervised.Time Commitment: Volunteers should arrive by 5:00 PM for orientation and stay until 8:30 PM to assist with cleanup.Attire: Volunteers are encouraged to wear holiday-themed clothing/PJs or festive attire (Santa hats, elf costumes, etc.) to add to the spirit of the evening.ParkingVolunteers are encouraged to park in the Vermilion Parking Tower located 121 E Vermilion St, Lafayette, LA 70501, or in any available street parking. We ask that volunteers DO NOT park in our guest parking lot, so that we can save those spots for families attending the event.CMA phone lines don't turn on until 10 am.
