Are you passionate about inspiring young minds through play? As a Volunteer Play Facilitator at the Children’s Museum of Acadiana, you’ll help create a fun, engaging, and educational experience for children and families.
Responsibilities:
- Engage with children and caregivers in museum exhibits, encouraging interactive play and exploration.
- Facilitate hands-on activities, arts and crafts, and STEAM-based learning experiences.
- Assist with museum programs, special events, and themed activities.
- Help maintain a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for all visitors.
- Provide friendly customer service and answer basic visitor questions.
Qualifications:
- Enjoy working with children and families in a playful, hands-on environment.
- Friendly, patient, and enthusiastic attitude.
- Ability to follow museum policies and assist with program facilitation.
- MUST BE YOUNGER THAN 18 YEARS OLD OR A BACKGROUND CHECK IS NEEDED.
