The Commodity Supplemental Food Program (CSFP) Program provides nutritious food boxes to thousands of low-income seniors in our community. These supplemental food boxes weigh around 40 pounds and are distributed through a car line at your local recreation centers and parks. This is a physically strenuous activity. Volunteers may be loading boxes, helping with administrative tasks, or directing traffic. Please take note of the following volunteer requirements:
-Able to stand on feet for 2 hours at a time.
-Able to lift up to 40 pounds
-Must wear closed-toe shoes
-Able to be outside in high temperatures.
-Able to interact with community members.
