Volunteer Ambassadors are a close‑knit group of dedicated volunteers who help share the heart of service across Acadiana. By giving a few hours each month (and the occasional Saturday!), Volunteer Ambassadors support the Volunteer Center by spreading the word about volunteer opportunities, building connections, and lending a hand when extra help is needed.
Volunteer Ambassadors might represent the Volunteer Center at community events, talk with friends and neighbors about ways to get involved, help with small projects or pickups during busy seasons, and share ideas and local insight to help strengthen volunteerism throughout our parishes. They serve as friendly faces and trusted connectors—people who know the community, love Acadiana, and believe in neighbors helping neighbors.
This role is ideal for reliable, community‑minded volunteers who enjoy connecting people to causes, supporting local nonprofits, and helping Acadiana thrive through service.
