United Way of Acadiana and the Three O’Clock Project are partnering to distribute free food to students 18 years old and under, at two designated sites on Tuesday, August 4. This will be our last weekly distribution.
Volunteers will be needed at the following sites and times:
- Shift #1: St. Julien Park (701 St Nazaire Rd): 8:30 am – 10:30 am
- Shift #2: MLK Recreation Center (309 Cora Street): 12:30 pm – 2:30 pm
Volunteers will be provided with PPE including masks and gloves. Volunteers will participate by facilitating cars through and placing boxes of food and gallons of milk in recipients’ vehicles. Please wear your Live United volunteer t-shirt.
