On January 23rd, Parish Proud will be hosting a large cleanup event all along University Avenue in order to beautify the Corridor.
To that end, Parish Proud is looking for a volunteer photographer who would be willing to donate their time and photos to Parish Proud for social media use.
DAY OF DETAILS:
First off: Thank you again for volunteering your time and efforts to Parish Proud! We are so pleased to have so many wonderful volunteers helping us move towards our goal of a cleaner city!
Here are some important details for the day of.
When: 9am - 12pm Saturday, January 23rd
What: A volunteer event centered around cleaning up University Avenue to create an entryway that Lafayette Parish can be proud of.
Where: University Avenue Corridor
Who: Parish Proud, OneAcadiana, The University of Louisiana at Lafayette Americorps, UL Lafayette Community Service, Bayou Vermilion Preservation Alliance, First Presbyterian Church, JROTC, Junior League, The 705 Philanthropy Committee, Lafayette Garden Club, Ascension Day School and more!
What to bring:
Closed-toe shoes
Mask (Should be worn at all times when at staging and parking areas)
Hat
Sunscreen
Litter grabber (if you do not have one, one will be provided at main station)
Vest (If you do not have one, one will be provided at main station)
