UPDATE
With our Cleanest City University Avenue Event only a few days away we wanted to make sure you have all the details you'll need.
Date: Saturday, March 27th
Time: 9-11 am
Place: University Avenue from Willow to Cameron
Parking Location: Shopper's Value (Building is located at 2015 W University Ave, Lafayette, LA 70506) and Fox Insurance Agency and other locations
What to Bring:
Closed-toe shoes
Mask (Should be worn at all times when at staging and parking areas)
Hat
Sunscreen
Litter grabber (if you do not have one, one will be provided at the main station)
Vest (If you do not have one, one will be provided at the main station)
What will be provided:
Trash-bags
Equipment
Parish Proud will have a station set up at Shopper's Value with water, supplies, hand sanitizer, first aid kits and information for volunteers.
Groups that were assigned other cleaning stations can pick up their supplies from Shopper's Value prior to 9 am that morning. Or designate a group leader to pick up the supplies.
IMPORTANT: Once filled, trash bags should be left at an intersection on University Avenue so Republic can pick them up.
