Who We Are
Seeking to put God’s love into action, we bring people together to build homes, communities, and hope. We believe that everyone, no matter who they are or where they come from, should have a decent place to live. We focus on building affordable homes right here in Acadiana. We have been building since 1992!
What We Do
We partner with families to build a place to call home. Habitat future homeowners help build their own homes alongside volunteers and pay an affordable mortgage. With our help, Habitat homeowners achieve the strength, stability, and independence they need to build a better life for themselves and their families.
We utilize volunteers in various phases of the homebuilding process, but no experience is needed. We will teach volunteers how to do the task for the day which could be framing, siding, flooring, painting, and more.
