This half-day Summit will focus on how where you live, work and play matters (social determinants of health). The overall goal of the Summit is to apply learned knowledge about social determinants of health and health inequities to community solutions.
Specific learning objectives are as follows:
- Comprehend the framework of social determinants of health and each component.
- Discuss health inequities in our community and provide data on the results of not addressing them.
- Synthesize local health inequities, known social determinants of health, and community concerns to begin to develop a comprehensive response.
- Illustrate promising solutions in our community.
Following the Summit will be a Community Health Festival outside of the ACA on W. Vermilion St. Join us for food, music, vendors, and socializing on a Friday afternoon.
